From an entrepreneurial stand point, no one wants to be corrected. You put in countless hours into your business and oftentimes may feel like you have everything under control.
You not only envisioned it but brought it to fruition with your research and hard work. You know the ins and outs of your business like no one else. Even if someone has the same business layout as you, your formula and process is different.
Let me tell you, I know first hand how much of an accomplishment that is. I built my company from the ground up and even now I still put in the work needed to make my business grown, but when someone has tips for the betterment of your business, it would be more than wise to bend a listening ear. No one knows it all.
There is an old saying, chew the meat and spit out the bones. That means take what you need and leave the rest. If someone is willing to give you advice on how you can grow your business it is beneficial that you take heed. Apply what's needed and thank them for their constructive criticism, even if it stings.
